Giddy-up to the Martha’s Vineyard Horse Council’s spring fling horse show, coming to the grounds of the Agricultural Hall on June 5 at 9 a.m. Warm-ups start at 8 a.m.
Whether new to riding or experienced in the saddle, the hunter/jumper show will have something for everyone, including a trail class and games.
The show committee hopes to include as many riders as possible, including new riders, green horses, Western riders, and riders wanting to warm-up for off-Island shows.
Leadline classes will be offered for free, sponsored by the Martha’s Vineyard Savings Bank. Scholarships are also available to offset show entry fees.
Show attire is not required, but all riders must wear helmets and boots.
Entry forms are available at SBS, horse barns across the Island, or online at mvhorsecouncil.com. Forms and more information are available at mvhunterhorseshow@gmail.com or 774-521-5621.
