What about the stuffed animals? It’s a fair question, this Memorial Day weekend as all thoughts turn to cookouts, parades, a beach trip, perhaps a cocktail or two. But what about the quiet, fluffy things that keep the kids cozy at night? Shouldn’t they get a vacation treat too?

Well the Oak Bluffs Library has a plan. On Friday night, May 27, the library is hosting a stuffed animal sleepover. Just bring the tiger or panda or monkey to the library (perhaps leave the favorite at home for sleeping purposes) and in the morning come back for some breakfast while hearing tales of what mischief the animal got into during the night. Breakfast and storytelling is from 10 to 11:30 on Saturday, May 28.

But you might want to stick around until noon, when the baby goats from Scapegoats Goatscaping stop by.
