Seth Meyers was the first live dream received by the Possible Dreams Auction Committee for the 38th annual Possible Dreams Auction for Martha’s Vineyard Community Services. Auction committee chair Liza May emailed Seth’s assistant, Erika, on a Friday and by Monday, we sent the paperwork back for a VIP tour, Meet and Greet, and taping of his show for two. We’re adding an overnight stay at a luxury hotel and working on other elements to make it a super deluxe NYC package.

The second dream the auction committee received was from Doug Liman. Jan Hatchard had been in touch with his assistant, Grace, who completed it in record time. The dream will include two tickets to the premiere of Doug’s new movie Mena, starring Tom Cruise plus a signed script. The committee is working on an overnight stay to add to this package too.

Thus far, there are between 22 and 24 live dreams with incredible trips to France, Scotland, Ireland and Mackinac Island, and a fishing dream in honor of the late Olga Hirshhorn. Thanks to up-Island supporters for their efforts in providing dreams for the auction and thank you to the sponsors for this year’s auction, to be held on Sunday, July 31 at the Winnetu Oceanside Resort in Edgartown.
