Thanks to a generous grant from MVYouth, the Martha’s Vineyard Skate Park will be getting a much-needed face lift. On Sunday, June 19, come help say goodbye to the old park with live music, good food, and a Skate-Safe safety clinic with free helmets for all participants.

From 3 to 5 p.m., clinics will be held that include safety tips and gear demonstrations. Free helmets will be distributed to all participants. MVYouth is the sponsor.

From 5 to 7 p.m. there will be a skate jam! Skate and celebrate, with music, food and demonstrations from top Island skaters.

The rain date is Sunday, June 26.
