Just in time for summer sailing, boater registration will be available on Martha’s Vineyard this weekend.

The Massachusetts Environmental Police’s boater registration bureau will be operating from the Registry of Motor Vehicles in Edgartown on June 25 and June 26 to provide local service to Island residents. Drop by between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. both days to register and title a new boat or renew a boat registration.

Massachusetts Department of Revenue representatives will be in attendance to process boat, off-highway vehicle, or snowmobile sales taxes.

Participants are asked to bring either a personal check or money order. Cash and credit cards will not be accepted.

The event is sponsored by the Massachusetts Environmental Police, the Registration and Titling Bureau, and the Massachusetts Department of Revenue.
