Online grocer Peapod has announced that pilot online grocery delivery service to Martha’s Vineyard began June 21.
Peapod partners with Stop & Shop to allow Islanders to shop in-store or order their groceries online and have groceries delivered to their homes.
The service is available in Oak Bluffs, Vineyard Haven, West Tisbury and Edgartown (not including Chappaquiddick). Delivery will be available twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The delivery fee is $6.95 to $9.95 plus a $10 ferry fee. Pilot service will run through Sept. 1.
Peapod customers can take advantage of weekly specials and coupons and earn Gas Rewards like in Stop & Shop stores. For more information, visit peapod.com.
