A group of Island mothers is holding a march in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement. On Saturday, July 16 the group plans to leave from Five Corners in Vineyard Haven promptly at 10 a.m. and walk to Ocean Park in Oak Bluffs, where they plan to stand in silence until all marchers have arrived.

The organizers said the Island community to attend and bring children, signs, and loved ones to the march.
