Charlie Fenske, 16, of Edgartown has been named a regional finalist in Google’s worldwide science fair, an online science competition open to students around the world. Charlie was a winner in the engineering category among 16 to 18-year-old olds in the Americas for his project titled An Analysis of Rocket Guidance Systems to Enhance Space Flight Efficiency and Maneuverability.

Global finalists will be announced in August.

Charlie attends Falmouth Academy and hopes to study aerospace engineering in college.
