Black Uhuru brings over 40 years of experience with rocking the reggae beat to the Island on Thursday, Sept. 22. The group, which originally formed in 1972 plays the Lampost, beginning at 10 p.m. Over the decades some of the players have come and gone, but Derrick (Duckie) Simpson continues to enjoy the ride.
