The Farm Neck Foundation has issued a call for applications for the 2016 grant cycle.

All Island nonprofit organizations that work to improve the quality of life on Martha’s Vineyard are eligible. Submissions require a proposal describing the project, its benefits, budgetary requirements and the amount requested, along with two letters of support from outside the organization. Proposals must be received by Nov. 1 and can be sent to Farm Neck Foundation, Inc., P.O. Box 1656, Oak Bluffs, MA, 02557 or farmneckfoundation@farmneck.net.

The Farm Neck Foundation was created in 1989 and is funded by members and supporters of the Farm Neck Golf Club. The foundation does not fund salaries but gives special consideration to innovative approaches to needs that cannot get funding through traditional sources. Grants are not awarded to the same organization two years in a row.
