The Film Society in Vineyard Haven is hosting its annual Manhattan Short Film Festival beginning Thursday, Sept. 29 through Oct. 2.

The event brings together over 100,000 film fans in over 250 cities across six continents; virtually that is. The festival has already narrowed down the 10 short film finalists and will show these films simultaneously across the world. The Best Film and Best actor awards are determined by ballots cast by the audiences in each participating cinema.

On the Vineyard all of the films can be seen at Martha’s Vineyard Film Center, 79 Beach Road, Vineyard Haven.
