Madelyne Mary Zollo and Nathan Charles Rusbosin are to be married on Oct. 8 at St. Elizabeth’s Church in Edgartown.

Ms. Zollo, 29, is a freelance beauty writer living in Orlando, Fla., where she recently relocated to be near Mr. Rusbosin. She spent nearly eight years working in magazine publishing in New York city. She was most recently the beauty editor of Seventeen, and previously held positions at People StyleWatch and Elle. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in English.

The bride grew up spending summers at her parents’ vacation home on the Vineyard and working at various summer jobs at Espresso Love, Plum TV, and the Old Sculpin Gallery.

She is the daughter of Victor Anthony Zollo Jr. and Jacquelynn Zollo of Winter Park, Fla., and Edgartown. Her father is a founding partner and co-chief executive officer of DePrince, Race and Zollo, Inc., an investment firm in Winter Park. Her mother is a former school teacher in Florida’s Orange County.

Mr. Rusbosin is a research analyst at DePrince, Race and Zollo, Inc. in Winter Park, Fla. He received a full basketball scholarship to Rollins College, where he is the most winning player in the school’s basketball program’s history. He graduated with a degree in political science and received his MBA from Rollins College’s Crummer Graduate School of Business.

He is the son of Robert Howard Rusbosin and Sharon Rusbosin of Hamilton, Ohio. His mother is a retired music teacher. His father recently retired from his role as the regional senior associate dean of students at Miami University’s Hamilton and Middletown branch campuses.
