Where are all the tortoiseshell and calico cat lovers out there? Doris and Lacey couldn’t be friendlier. Doris is three years old with typical tortoiseshell markings. She comes when called and loves to be petted. She may turn out to be a snuggly kitty once she is in her forever home. Lacey, the very pretty calico, is only eight, and what she wants most is to be the center of attention. This is one super affectionate lap cat who just adores people. Does anyone have a place for these two special girls?

Also in the cat room are two young buff and white males. Lefty is large and loves to play. He has a warm purr and is looking for love. ZZ is sweet with a shy, gentle nature but loves to be held and pet. He would be a super addition to a family with young children.

And keeping everyone in line is Cee Cee. She watches all that goes on through her beautiful green eyes. She has long, black fur tipped in silver, and is beautiful to behold. Please stop by to see if any of these cats could fill that void in your life.

The two litters of tabby kittens are thriving. The first litter is now nine weeks old and the two girls have gone to their new home together. Boys Bob and Ted are tearing up the hallway with their kitten antics while waiting to leave for their homes.

The second litter is now seven weeks old and will be ready to leave the shelter in another week or so. They are as playful as kittens can be and still look as if daddy may have been a silver Bengal, with all their spots. One of the two females is spoken for, but if you are interested in the other female, or one of the three males, please contact the shelter to have your named added to the kitten list.

Good news: three of our feline residents have moved on to forever homes. Chappy has found someone to love, and so has our lobby cat Cody. And Bianca the Siamese has gone to a lovely home as well. We have a new lobby cat, Chaps, an 11-year-old large white male with black markings who is up for adoption.
