The Woods Hole terminal reconstruction project, relocating the reservations office at the Martha’s Vineyard Airport, and the search for a new general manager are among the items on a full agenda when the Steamship Authority meets Tuesday on Martha’s Vineyard.

The board of governors meeting will take place at 9:30 a.m. at the Katharine Cornell Theatre in Vineyard Haven.

If all goes according to plan, a search/selection committee will make a recommendation about who will replace general manager Wayne Lamson when he steps down next summer. Last month the board gave the green light for the committee to interview only current employees for the job. Candidates were set to me screened earlier this month, and the committee is scheduled to deliver a report Tuesday on the Vineyard.

Other items on the agenda include an update on the Woods Hole terminal reconstruction project, which is facing opposition from some Woods Hole residents. Last month a group of Woods Hole residents requested an adjudicatory hearing before the Department of Environmental Protection, which starts an appeal at the administrative law level.

It was unclear last month whether the appeal would delay the $60 million project, which calls for relocating and rebuilding the main terminal and three ferry slips and moving administrative offices to Palmer avenue in Falmouth.

A plan to close the reservation counter at Martha’s Vineyard Airport is also on the agenda for an update. In the spring the board voted to close the office and move that operation to the Vineyard Haven terminal. With more customers booking travel online, Steamship Authority personnel said renting the airport space was no longer efficient. The change was expected to take effect Dec. 1.

The board is also scheduled to vote on a $95 million operating budget for the coming year.
