We’ve also just attained a gorgeous, orange and white female Manx cat and her four three-week old kittens. Momma’s name is Jasper, she’s under a year old, and loves to snuggle. And her babies are just beautiful. Two are Manx, like their Mom, an orange we are calling Dallas, and the calico is Deena. The other two kittens are both female and both have tails. The black and gray tabby is called Denver and her sister, the tabby/torti, is Dorito. If you are interested in a kitten, please contact the shelter to have your name added to the kitten list.

The eight month old, tuxedo female, Mary, is a sweet girl with a half milk moustache. She awaiting her spay date. And, in the mean time, she is hoping to find someone she can snuggle with forever. She arrived at the shelter as a stray from Lambert’s Cove so if anyone in that vicinity thinks she might be their missing kitten, please contact the shelter.

There is a lovely, 11-year-old, black and tan dachshund looking for a new home. His name is Guapo and he is very, very sweet.

Things in the cat room are ever evolving. Cee Cee, the beautiful, frosted tip female, with long black silver tipped fur is now residing in the condo. She is still young and playful at the age of seven. Our very friendly, three year old, tortoiseshell, Doris, likes spending her time up high on the cat couch. And the special needs calico, Lacey, just wants attention and loves being the center of attention. She is only eight years old, very pretty, and her special needs can be handled very simply.

The boys in the cat room are the two young, buff and white males Lefty and ZZ. Lefty is a large boy, who loves to play. He is four, has a warm purr and is looking for love. ZZ is very sweet three year old. He has a shy, gentle nature but loves to be held and pet. He would be a super addition to a family with young children.

Also available for adoption is our lobby cat, Chaps, an 11-year-old, large white male with black markings. He’s a bit standoffish but comes around after a while. Stop in and meet him to see if you fall in love.
