The Chamber Music Society will hold its Thanksgiving concert on Saturday, Nov. 26, beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Old Whaling Church in Edgartown. The concert will feature the Martha’s Vineyard Piano Quartet, consisting of Stephanie Chase (violin), Scott Woolweaver (viola), Scott Kluksdahl (cello), and Delores Stevens (piano).

The program includes Mozart’s Piano Quartet in g-minor (KV 478), Beethoven’s Cello Sonata in A Major. (Op. 69), Duos for Violin and Viola (Op. 60) by Viennese composer Robert Fuchs, and Four Pieces for Piano Quartet by Richard Strauss.

Violinist Stephanie Chase has performed in 25 countries as a featured soloist with the world’s major orchestras. Mr. Woolweaver founded the Boston Composers String Quartet, and has been a member of the New England Piano Quartette for more than 25 years. He is on the faculties of Williams College and Tufts University. Mr. Kluksdahl is a graduate of both Harvard and Juilliard, and has performed as a soloist, recitalist and chamber musician worldwide. He currently serves on the music faculties of Vermont’s Killington Music Festival and California Summer Music.

Dolores Stevens is a co-founder of the Martha’s Vineyard Chamber Music Society and is its current artistic director. She has recorded for 16 record labels in all genres of music from Mozart to Hindemith.
