Pathways is hosting its official grand opening party for its off-season arts tour de force. The party is on Friday, Dec. 2, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Chilmark Tavern, 9 State Road in Chilmark. It will be an evening of music, poetry, spoken word, and digital and visual arts.

The event is free and open to the public, as is the Pathways arts space to use as a meeting place, and for collaboration. Regular hours are from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, except Wednesday and Sunday.

The Tuesday writing and poetry series has already begun and will continue through April.
