Say hello to Lefty. — Alison L. Mead

The news of the week is that the dachshund Guapo’s adoption has been finalized, and so has an adoption for Lunar the husky.

But Happy, the elderly beagle mix, is still looking for his new home. He is sweet and cute as a button. Please contact the shelter if you are interested in meeting this dog. Due to his advanced age his adoption fee will be waived. And the stray rabbit Macy has been claimed by his owner. Both were very happy to be reunited.

Where are the Siamese cat lovers out there? Simon is an incredibly sweet and affectionate lilac point. He’s stunningly handsome with neon blue eyes. Although he can be vocal, he’s quiet as a mouse while sitting in a lap. He gets along with both cats and dogs. Stop by and meet this awesome fellow, and maybe fall in love.

Beautiful Cee Cee. — Alison L. Mead

We have two spectacular orange cats that would be a great fit in any home. ZZ is four years old with a very sweet personality. He is quite gentle and would be great with children. He will blossom once he gets into a forever home. And Lefty is a large, friendly four-year-old who has been spending his time in the lobby, making friends with everyone. He’s also been bonding with our other lobby cat, Chaps. Chaps is 11, with striking white and black markings. He would love a new home for the holidays.

There are also three lovely females in the cat room, waiting for someone to love. Mary is a 10-month old tuxedo. She is sweet and a tad on the shy side but is warming up to visitors. Seven-year-old Cee Cee is beautiful, with long black fur. And then we have Doris, our friendly three-year-old tortoiseshell. This girl has a lovely personality and is quite affectionate. Please stop in to meet the crew if you are looking for a new companion.
