Kalila Anne Minor and David Joseph Andresen were married on Saturday, Oct. 1 at the First Congregational Church of West Tisbury, with Rev. Terry Newberry officiating. The ceremony was followed by dinner and dancing at Stoney Hill Road House in Tisbury.

The couple met at Princeton, from which they both graduated.

The bride, 27, is the daughter of Dr. Linda C. Minor and Dr. Hassan Minor Jr. of Northern Virginia, who are also longtime summer residents of Edgartown. She graduated from the National Cathedral School in Washington, D.C. in 2007. The bridegroom, 25, is the son of Maria I. Gomes and Dr. Joseph S. Andresen of San Francisco, Calif. He graduated from Menlo School in Menlo Park, Calif. in 2009, and later completed the Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical Program at Columbia University.

The newlyweds live in Palo Alto, Calif. with their Portuguese water dog, Tinsley. Kalila is studying for an M.B.A. at Stanford Graduate School of Business and David works as a program manager at Verily, formerly known as Google Life Sciences, in Mountain View, Calif.
