We have a new dog up for adoption. Oscar is an eight-year old, Caribbean Potcake. He’s a small, tan dog with big ears who has a very sweet temperament. Please contact the shelter if you are interested in meeting this boy. He would love a new home for the new year.
Santa’s Christmas angel heard her wish and brought a prince charming for Cee Cee. Her new friend appreciates her beauty and unique personality, and a bond has been formed. Best wishes in the New Year and for a lifetime to come.
Still hoping their Christmas wishes come true are our longest resident, Lefty, a large buff and white boy who would love a home with another cat, or being an only would be fine with him as well. He is only four and loves to play. His buddy Chaps’ wish is for a comfy bed, some petting, good food and someone to share his love with. He’s white with black markings and at 11 isn’t asking for much, just a home where he can stay for the rest of his life.
Mary is a petite, tuxedo cat with long legs. At only one-year old she would love a family to spend her life with to play with. Tiger Lily wants attention, attention, attention. She is five-years old, tabby and white. A home with a family to play with and pet her would be her dream come true. And Hunter is a year old female, tabby whose wish is to leave the shelter as soon as possible. She’s a real sweetheart and turning into quite the lap cat. She’s praying to find her forever home sooner rather than later.
The shelter would like to thank Miss Lani and all of her students from the Featherstone Center for the Arts for the wonderful paintings they made of pets. When they visited the shelter they also brought gift baskets for the animals and sang songs. Shelter alumni Storm the husky and Cooper the yellow Labrador retriever came as well for a visit.
And all of the shelter residents, staff and volunteers and want to wish everyone the happiest of holiday seasons.
