Winter storm Helena provided us with a blustery weekend and deposited a foot of snow in most places. Drifts were much deeper due to the windscaping. May it be the last blizzard for this year but I doubt it. Temperatures were down into the teens and wind gusts were well over 30 mph creating temperatures in the single digits. Thank you to Jay Smalley, Frank Perez, Jason Baird, and Edward Panek for keeping our highways and byways salted, sanded and plowed. Thank you to emergency personnel across the Vineyard for keeping us all safe. The lights never even blinked for a second.
