On Thursday, Feb. 23, Vineyarders will have three minutes to pitch their business concept to three judges, who will have one additional minute to ask questions before moving on to the next applicant. At the conclusion of the pitches, the judges will convene to select the three cash prize winners, first place, $3,000, second place, $1,500 and third place, $500.

It’s the local version of Shark Tank, called Perfect Pitch MV, but with less of a bite, and less cash, but the energy will be the same. The 13 budding entrepreneurs previously submitted their ideas to narrow down the field. The event will be held in the Baylies Room in the Old Whaling Church from 6 to 8 p.m.

Perfect Pitch MV is a collaboration of the Martha’s Vineyard Chamber of Commerce, the Martha’s Vineyard Donor’s Collaborative, Cape and Islands SCORE, Edgartown National Bank and Seidman Investment Portfolios. Judges will be Fielding Moore, Peter Norris and Mark Lowenstein. There is no cost to attend and everyone is invited.
