Rottweiler Carl/Buddy, is looking better and better as his skin and coat issues are on the mend. This is a smart dog that responds well to training and is a delightful gentleman. At only four years old he still has a long life ahead of him and he’s looking for that special family share it with and play ball with. Come in and meet him to see if it’s a match made in heaven. This is a really awesome dog.

Friendly Lefty. — Alison L. Mead

A beautiful six year-old male cat has recently joined us. He’s solid gray with golden eyes and resembles a Russian blue. His name is Bee Bee and he’s super friendly. Could he be the new friend you’ve been seeking?

There are currently three female and three male cats is the cat room. Lefty has been with us the longest. He is a large buff and white cat who is almost five and very friendly. This guy is so mellow that he often spends his time in the lobby greeting visitors and hoping one of them might fall hard for him. But until then he knows he has a good home here.

Sweetie. — Alison L. Mead

White and black boy Chaps is 11, very mellow, and also spends a good deal of time out and about with the staff and volunteers. He’s simply looking for a warm spot to nap and some affection. Could you make his dreams come true?

We also have a large nine-year-old long-haired cat named Mr. Fluff who resembles a Maine coon cat. He’s another sweet boy who is looking for a new forever home.

The girls in the cat room are the very affectionate Tiger Lily, tuxedo Mary, and dilute calico Sweetie. Tiger Lily is tabby and white, five years old and a bit of a butterball. She adores people and is looking for someone who adores her as much, who she can shower with kisses.

Mary, the year old tuxedo, has been with us the longest. She is petite, with long legs, golden eyes and a typical female tuxedo personality. She may not be a lap cat but she does like to be held. If you’re looking for a beauty she could be your girl.

Sweetie is a good size two-year-old that is mostly gray with some pale orange markings on her face and chest that match her golden eyes. She is as sweet as her name suggests, very playful, and hoping a forever family will come for her soon.

Guinea pig Hamlette, aka Mr. Friendly, is still waiting for that special family. He is brown and white and under a year old. As with most guinea pigs he loves attention, especially to be held and pet. And he’s very good about eating his vegetables. If you have a child begging for a guinea pig Hamlette is your guy. Please stop in and meet him, if only just to visit and give him some attention.

Last, but not least, a huge thank you to the Animal Rescue League of Boston’s spay/neuter wagon. While here last Wednesday they spayed or neutered as many animals as could be scheduled for one visit.
