Aretha Franklin will headline the second annual Martha’s Vineyard Concert Series as part of her farewell tour.

The series is curated by Island resident Adam Epstein, CEO of Innovation Arts & Entertainment. At present this summer’s series includes 10 shows.

Confirmed dates and venues are: Garrison Keillor, May 28 at the Martha’s Vineyard PAC; Aimee Mann, June 28 at Martha’s Vineyard PAC; Loudon Wainwright, July 6 at the Old Whaling Church; Pink Martini, July 13 at The Tabernacle; Graham Nash, July 18 at the Old Whaling Church; Jackopierce, July 29 at the Old Whaling Church; Capitol Steps, August 13 at the Martha’s Vineyard PAC; Aretha Franklin, August 19 at The Tabernacle; Dirty Dozen Brass Band, August 21 at the Old Whaling Church; and Black Violin, August 23 at the Martha’s Vineyard PAC.

More shows will be announced as they are scheduled.

Tickets go on sale soon, but this week MV Concert Series announced tiered ticket memberships ranging in price from $100 to $1,000. Each membership includes priority access to purchasing tickets before the general public and special discounts only available to members.
