Rottweiler Buddy, aka Carl, has an adoption pending but is technically still available. He is a large dog with an especially handsome face and a great disposition. He’s four going on six months so training will need to continue, but he’s very smart and does know the basics. This boy loves to spend his time around people and needs someone to play ball with, his favorite pastime. If you’re looking for a large dog this could be your perfect match.

This week’s adoption is of contrary tuxedo feline Mary. She has found someone who has succumbed to her charms. We wish them a long and happy life together.

The cats in the cat room waiting for their forever homes are two females. Sweetie is a two-year-old calico who loves to play. She is primarily gray with some pale orange markings that match her gold eyes. Also available is five-year-old Tiger Lily. She is tabby and white, a little chubby, and extremely affectionate. She isn’t fond of being held but she adores petting and loves to give kisses. This kitty is a real sweetheart.

Our only male cat is white and black Chaps, who now resides here as our shelter cat. Chaps is 11, very mellow, and doesn’t ask for much. And if a special relationship should form with Chaps we might allow him to leave us for a new forever home.

Soon to join the fun in the cat room and shake things up is a young female named Licorice. She is totally black with only a stray white hair here and there. This girl is definitely a lap cat, she loves to be pet and just purrs and purrs. She would be a perfect pet for anyone.
