The Martha’s Vineyard Institute of Creative Writing is proud to announce the 2017 Eric Dieffenbach Fellowship for Vineyard writers.

The fellowship was created by institute alumni and Vineyarder Eric Dieffenbach, to give time and financial support to vineyard writers to devote a week to their craft. The fellowship offers funding to attend a week of choice at the institute: July 9 to 15 or July 16 to 22. The fellowships are open to Vineyard residents age 17 and older. One recipient will receive the full retreat package, with 100 per cent of tuition paid. Two runners-up, one in poetry and one in fiction, will receive a $500 credit toward the cost of tuition.

Details about guidelines and submission can be found at the institute’s website.
