Representatives from the American Civil Liberties Union will be on hand to discussion immigration rights during a forum on Monday, May 22 at 7 p.m. at the Martha’s Vineyard Hebrew Center.

Attorney Laura Rotolo of the ACLU of Massachusetts will discuss federal government practices and the rights of citizenship and Cape Cod attorney Gabrielle Bonfim Moraek, who speaks Brazilian Portuguese, will discuss a Know Your Rights platform. State Rep. Dylan Fernandes will join in the conversation as well.

The event is open to all and is co-sponsored by the Martha’s Vineyard Social Justice Leadership Foundation and the Martha’s Vineyard Hebrew Center Social Action committee. Live streaming and Brazilian Portuguese translation will also be provided. The Hebrew Center is located at 130 Center street in Vineyard Haven.
