Tisbury’s annual Memorial Day picnic, cancelled because of rain, has been rescheduled for Sunday, June 4 from noon to 3 p.m. at the Tashmoo Waterworks.
The same activities, all more fun under clear skies, are on the agenda. They include rowboats, chalk art, children’s games, ice cream, hot dogs from Cronig’s, and watermelon from Stop and Shop. Music will be provided by the Flying Elbows, sponsored by the cultural commission, and a historical exhibit by Chris Baer with Paul Brissette will be open for viewing during the picnic.
Bring picnics, but no dogs, please.
