The Dukes Conservation district will host a lecture and discussion on climate change on June 29 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Agricultural Hall.

The discussion will focus on how climate change affects agriculture and the farming community, and implications for food production and coastal structures.

Eric Walberg, a senior climate services program leader at Manomet science center in Plymouth, will speak.

The event is also sponsored by the Polly Hill Arboretum, the Martha’s Vineyard Agricultural Society, and the Island Grown Initiative. It is free and open to the public.
