Celebrate art, fishing, and paying it forward at Cousen Rose Gallery on Saturday, July 29.

An artist’s reception for oil painter Mark Zeender will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. At 8 p.m., Mr. Zeender will draw the name of a winner of a 15.5-foot motorized fishing kayak that is being raffled off to benefit Haitian children.

Mr. Zeender and his wife, Setzu, are longtime volunteers and benefactors of the Martha’s Vineyard Fish Farm Project, which is holding the raffle. The drawing will take place at 8 p.m.
