Kittens are coming! As suspected the young black bobtail cat Girl will become a mother in a few weeks. If you are looking for a kitten please contact the shelter to have your name added to the kitten list. And after her kittens are weaned Girl will also be ready to find her forever home. She is coal black with a shining coat and stunning green eyes. Please come meet her; you’ll have plenty of time to prepare your home for her.

Rescued kitten survivor Halo is thriving. She’s extremely affectionate and beginning to play. She’s an adorable little tabby and would be a wonderful addition to any family. The other kitten news is that Fred, the gray male, has left us for his forever home. Halo hopes to be just as lucky.

Two new cats have arrived at the shelter. They are a father and son. The son is the offspring of former shelter resident Snow, and brother of Fran. The father is Mr. Whiskers. He’s only two years old, black with a white spot on his chest and golden eyes. Ragnar is only a year old, tabby and white. Both these boys are super friendly and affectionate. They are ready to go to forever homes as soon as someone falls in love. Come in and meet these super felines.

Another recent arrival is Mittens. She’s fourteen, a gray and white tuxedo who has turned out to be quite friendly and affectionate. This girl likes to be with people and is a real sweetie. Could you be her one and only, or vice versa Come meet her and find out.

And white and black shelter cat Chaps is still with us. He’s a gentle soul who only needs love, good eats and a comfy place to nap now that he’s 12. We’re happy to let him live out the rest of his nine lives here but if someone wants to give him a forever home we would be happy to see that happen for him.
