Falmouth Academy has appointed Matthew Green as the next head of school. Mr. Green is currently serving his ninth year as head of the upper school at The Haverford School located just outside of Philadelphia.

Mr. Green earned his B.A. in English from Tufts University and his Masters from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education. Prior to Haverford, he spent 10 years as a middle school teacher and administrator at Fessenden School in Newton, and eight years at the Pomfret School.

Mr. Green and his wife Jennifer Rossiter, a private piano instructor, are parents to three children. They will relocate to Cape Cod at the end of the academic year and Mr. Green will assume his new role as of July 1, 2018.
