An angel arrived at the shelter last week to provide a forever home for the elderly feline Faith. Congratulations and here’s to lots of snuggle time together.

Girl’s three kittens arrived on Friday the 13th. Two are black, one with a tail and the other without, and the third is a tuxedo. Mother and babies are doing well. We ask that you refrain from visiting them for a few weeks, until they are older and their eyes have opened. Girl herself will be available for adoption once her kittens are weaned and she’s been spayed. She is a young, solid black bobtail with beautiful green eyes.

The cat room currently has only one resident. Fanny is an older girl, all black with beautiful green eyes. She’s very sweet and affectionate, and still enjoys playing. She’s looking for someone to shower with her love, could that be you?

White and black shelter cat Chaps is still happily living with us. He’s a gentle soul with striking markings who only needs some love, good eats and a comfy place to nap now that he’s twelve. We’re happy to let him live out the rest of his nine lives here but if someone wants to give him a forever home we would be happy to see that happen for him. And he boasts the perfect Halloween mask, but he’s too sweet to scare anybody.

Our apologies to Dr. Quigly of The Animal Rescue League of Boston’s Spay/Neuter Wagon for misspelling his name last week. Additionally, they will not be visiting in November, as previously reported here. Their next visit is scheduled for March of 2018. Please contact your Animal Control Officer for more details.
