The Martha’s Vineyard Donors Collaborative and the Oak Bluffs Public Library will host a grant-writing workshop on Monday, Feb. 12. Titled “Become A Grants Wizard,” the workshop will run from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the library.
The fee is $20 per person, which includes lunch and snacks. RSVP is required by Feb. 5. Visit mvdonors.org to sign up.
The workshop is open to the public and geared mainly toward beginning grant writers and others who want to brush up on skills, or learn about Grantwatch, a free database.
The presenter will be Kathie Olsen, a nonprofit leader who has spent the past 12 years working as a program officer for the Cow Creek Umpqua Indian Foundation of Southern Oregon.
The workshop is made possible by a grant from the Peter and Elizabeth C. Tower Foundation.
