The big orange and white cat Jake has gone to a wonderful home where he can spend his senior years being adored. We know he’s found a permanent place.
The cat room has one resident, female black and gray tabby Holly. She is only five years old, a bigger girl who is a little on the shy side. She has a very sweet and gentle nature, loves attention, enjoys playing, and is an indoor/outdoor cat. She would be happiest in a quiet home with no children, and with an owner who has the patience to allow her to come out of her shell at her own pace.
Easter is coming in a few weeks and lop-eared bunny Mel is still hoping to find his forever home. He’s a big white neutered male who is only a year old. His brindle ears are very cute with one upright and the other flopping down. Mel is very friendly and enjoys attention. He’ll sit on your lap and allow you to pet or brush him for as long as you like. He also talks with cute little grunts. Stop in and meet him and see if he’ll eat a carrot or lettuce while you hold it. Who knows, love may blossom with this sweet rabbit.
We also have two exceptional year-old Abyssinian guinea pigs looking for homes. We recently realized that we’d already had piggies with their names so they are now Edie and Mimi. Both girls are extremely friendly and Edie, especially, loves being held. Edie is white with black markings on her head, and her sister Mimi is a pale caramel and white with a big black spot on her head. Both have those adorable Abyssinian rosettes in their coats. These piggies were hand raised and both are gems. Edie even comes to the side of the cage asking for attention, and sometimes gives kisses. If interested come by soon, we’re sure they’ll be snapped up quickly.
And lastly, if anyone needs any crates or dog food, please stop in to pick some up. We have an overabundance of both and are happy to share.
