The MVTV gallery space is currently hosting an exhibit during March and April of woodcuts by Ruth Kirchmeier.

Creating woodcuts is a detailed process, one that the artist once described as using a “teaspoon to dig the Grand Coulee dam.” But even at 82 years old, the West Tisbury resident’s creative fire burns as brightly as ever.

Visit the gallery space, located at 58 Edgartown-Vineyard Haven Road, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
