The Alison Shaw Gallery is filled with the photographs of Alison Shaw, naturally. But there was an exception in 2015, and there will be an exception again this Sunday, May 6.

Ms. Shaw and her partner Sue Dawson have co-taught photography mentorship programs for many years now. Some graduates continue with a year-long advanced mentorship, which in 2015 culminated in a group show of student work. On Sunday, there will be a reception for the most recent group of students to complete the advanced mentorship. The show includes Lucy Dahl, Jacqueline Abodeely, Beth Horstman and Andrea Dawson, all of whom will be at the reception, along with Ms. Shaw and Ms. Dawson.

The opening reception is from 4 to 6 p.m. at 88 Dukes County avenue in Oak Bluffs.

Beginning May 7, the Alison Shaw Gallery will be open Monday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and closed on Sundays.
