Trooper the goldendoodle found his forever home last Saturday with a family very experienced with large dogs. Everyone is just thrilled. Good luck Trooper and enjoy your new life in Connecticut.

Cully needs a home! He needs love and stability in his life. He is a handsome, nine-year-old male Russian Blue with big golden eyes. He’s a calm, shy boy who has a big purr, but once in a permanent home he’ll be a real lover since he especially enjoys being held and pet. Come in and meet him and maybe fall in love. He needs a real home where his life can be settled.

Spending time in the cat room with Cully are two females, Nesta and Holly. Nesta is a very sweet 14-year-old who is coming out of her shell and seeking affection more and more. She has perfect tuxedo markings and a cute black spot on her lip. Holly is a tabby of about five. She is looking for a home with someone with the patience to allow her to be herself and set the boundaries. This girl needs to feel at home and then her sweet side will blossom.

We have two stunningly beautiful and sweet long-haired female cats found in the vicinity of Windemere Road in Oak Bluffs. Wilma is black with eyes so golden they appear orange, and Gracie is a light and dark gray tabby with a very puffy tail. Gracie is the friendlier of the two. She’s a lap cat that purrs all the time, and it’s a cute little purr, and also give kisses and comes to greet you. She’s also a bit of a talker. Wilma, who may be her daughter, is a bit shyer but also adores affection and purrs and purrs. She is starting to seek out laps and is a real people lover. Both are lovely, sweet, indoor/outdoor cats that are still quite young. They would be great for families with children.

Mel is still looking for that special bunny lover to come and release him from his caged existence. He really needs to hop around and stretch his legs. He is a large white lop-eared rabbit with brindle ears, one that stands up while the other flops down. He is neutered. As rabbits go you couldn’t do better than Mel. He’s friendly, enjoys sitting in a lap and being pet or brushed, and he even talks in quiet grunts. Could you be the one to make Mel’s life complete and give him freedom?

Remember that Edgartown’s Pink and Green Weekend is coming up next weekend. Please join us Saturday for the dog show where dogs dressed in pink and green vie to see who’s cutest and win a prize.
