The Martha’s Vineyard Savings Bank won top honors at the 2018 Banking Choice Awards, earning first place wins for overall quality and technology and a third place win for customer service.

The bank also recently donated $10,000 to seven local groups and organizations through its charitable fund. Recipients this quarter were Martha’s Vineyard Book Festival and Author Series, Martha’s Vineyard Children’s Chorus, Aquinnah Cultural Center, Island Food Pantry, National Alliance on Mental Illness CCI, Island Grown Initiative, and Martha’s Vineyard Cancer Support Group.

Grants are awarded four times a year; the next deadline for applications is May 21.
