Out comes the red, white and blue, my photos of Ed Colligan and the small flag we were all given at his celebration of life, and our deep respect for all who have served. A poignant time of year. The March for Heroes starts and ends at our VFW on Saturday. Do not forget our annual Avenue of Flags here in Vineyard Haven, courtesy of Legion Post 257 on William Street. I’ll see you there.
Jack Ryan’s exquisite art exhibit has been held over at the Vineyard Playhouse.

Belated birthday bouquets to Michelle Parker who celebrated over the weekend, and on May 25 Sophia Grace Cummings turns seven. Also on May 25 Jack Tully takes the cake. Many happy returns.
