On Friday and Saturday, Oct. 19 and 20, Brooke Adams will present a staged reading of her new play Delusion by Proxy at the Martha’s Vineyard Playhouse.

The show is a bit of a family affair with her sister Lynne Adams and her husband Tony Shalhoub starring, along with Ella Dershowitz, Jamie Donnelly and Erica Bitton starring in the play. It is directed by Judith Ivey.

Showtime begins at 7 p.m. both nights, with a discussion after the shows, and a reception following Saturday’s performance.
