The motorcycles are ready, are you?

It’s time for the Red Stocking Fund Drive, brought to you by the Martha’s Vineyard Harley Riders. The event helps bring awareness and presents to kids who might go without a toy on Christmas. These men and women of the two wheel persuasion say not on our watch. Each year they ride the Island collecting toys and donations for the Red Stocking Fund, which has been administering gifts to those in need for over 80 years.

Yes, you read that number correctly.

The ride begins at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 11 at the P.A. Club, 137 Vineyard Avenue in Oak Bluffs.
