The First Congregational Church of West Tisbury is beginning its holiday season with the annual Christmas Faire, held on Saturday, Dec. 1 from 9:30 to 2:30 p.m.

The centerpiece of the faire are the boxwood wreaths, hand picked and hand crafted by the church ladies each year. There will also be holiday centerpieces, jewelry and gift items, baked goods and fair trade coffee.

The following weekend the church will host a Christmas concert on Sunday, Dec. 9 at 4 p.m. The choir and soloists will be accompanied by
harpist Sandra Bittermann, and the bell choir, under the direction of Hope O’Brien.
