By day Jack Ryan works behind the counter at the West Tisbury post office. By night, he retires to his basement where he creates intricate pen and ink drawings, mostly of his hometown of New York City. The work is full bodied, with a moody aftertaste.

Currently MVTV is hosting a show of Mr. Ryan’s work. Stop by the studio at 58 Edgartown-Vineyard Haven Road in Oak Bluffs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day through March 31 for an urban journey, no ferry ticket required.
