Love is still in the air. Rascal the tabby cat had just barely arrived when someone found him and fell in love. Must have been that chocolate milk mustache.

Hey Rottweiler people where are you? Lola is a gem of a rottie waiting for someone to come and fall in love with her. She’s five years old, super sweet, lived in a home with children, and gets along with dogs. We also have a very sweet older lady who needs a home. Mrs. Cooper is a small to medium sized dog, a Basset Hound/Labrador Retriever mix, that needs a loving home where she can spend her final years. She’s housebroken and is well mannered.

A new cat arrived a week ago. Charles is a year old, orange male with that super orange male personality. He’s friendly, affectionate and gets along with other cats.

Holly is lonely and desperately needs a permanent home. She’s been here way too long and needs a friend.

We have a special-needs cat that would be a great addition to any home. The Earl of Cecil is only six, he’s solid black with luminous green eyes, and the sweetest disposition ever.

The shelter will be offering a free Canine Kindergarten: Puppy Socialization Class with Jeremy Jones beginning Saturday, May 11 through June 1 at 10:30. Puppies must be on leash, have had their first vaccinations and proof of worming must be provided. Space is limited to five puppies and only a few spots are left so call soon if you’d like to attend.

Did you ever wish that there was a food pantry for dogs? Well there is. The Animal Shelter is awash is dog food, much more than we need, and we are happy to share with the community.

We still need adult volunteers to answer the phone and meet and greet people on Thursday, Friday and Saturday afternoons.
