The Martha’s Vineyard Film Festival continues its summer programming with the documentary After Parkland on Monday, July 22 at the Beach Plum Inn in Chilmark.

The documentary follows survivors of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, Fla. as they become national figures and activists to change gun laws, while still trying to manage the trauma of their experience.

The film begins at 8 p.m. and will include a discussion with film subjects Lauren Hogg and Brooke Harrison, along with directors Jake Lefferman and Emily Taguchi. There will also be a pre-screening dinner beginning at 6 p.m.

Then on Wednesday July 24 at the Chilmark Community Center, following the Cinema Circus at 5 p.m., there will be a screening of American Factory, with a discussion afterwards with producer Jeff Reichert and former congressman Barney Frank.
