The First Congregational Church of West Tisbury welcomes back the Rev. Dr. Raphael Warnock, senior pastor at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, Ga., as guest preacher on Sunday, August 11. This will mark the 10th summer Rev. Warnock has preached at the church.

The service begins at 10 a.m., and will feature guest choir director Mark Miller, minister of music at Christ Church in Summit, N.J.

Later in the afternoon Reverend Warnock will lead a conversation at the church on the multi-faith initiative he has collaborated on to end mass incarceration. The talk is from 5 to 6 p.m. and is co-sponsored by the Martha’s Vineyard Hebrew Center.
