Deborah Amanda Borges Battaglia and John Salvadore Battaglia, of Oak Bluffs, announce the birth of a daughter, Sophia, born on Oct. 11 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Sophia weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces at birth.
