Winter is upon us. The temperature fell on Tuesday from 60 degrees down to 30 degrees in a matter of hours. The first snowflakes of the season were falling but did not stay on the ground. The deer in Aquinnah are more abundant than ever.

Speaking of deer and the cold weather, the Outermost Inn is serving lunch for the next month or so on Thursday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. next to the fireplace. Sunday brunch is served from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. As you are dining you will have a great view of the deer grazing in the neighborhood. For me, I will wait until the deer pass by before hiking over to the inn.
