There will be an educational forum on fire risks and preventative measures for Martha’s Vineyard on Wednesday, Nov. 20 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Martha’s Vineyard Hebrew Center.

The forum will feature Dr. Barbara Sattler, a professor at the University of San Francisco and an environmental health and fire expert. Additionally, several local officials and agencies will share their concerns and ideas about what support is needed from state and local government and inform about work and plans already in progress.

The Hebrew Center is located at 130 Center street in Vineyard Haven.
